❗️EU–GCC Summit in Riyadh postponed amid ongoing Yemeni military operations

The European Council announced on 15 October that the second European Union–Gulf Cooperation Council (EU–GCC) summit, scheduled for 24 October 2026 in Riyadh, has been postponed.

This comes amid ongoing retaliatory military operations by the Ansarallah-led Yemeni Armed Forces against Saudi Arabia.

The European Council confirmed that a new date would be announced later but did not specify the reason for the postponement.
