❗️Pezeshkian and Pashinyan discuss expanding Iran-Armenia ties at regional summits

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held talks on the sidelines of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit and the Caspian Sea environmental summit in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan, discussing ways to expand bilateral cooperation.

Pezeshkian highlighted the potential for closer ties across multiple sectors, stressing that the two countries' shared border offered opportunities for greater engagement. He also called for sustained communication, coordination, and mutual support to strengthen trust and deepen relations between Tehran and Yerevan.

The Iranian president reaffirmed the Islamic Republic's readiness to expand cooperation with Armenia and underscored the importance of maintaining stable and lasting bilateral ties.
