❗️Israel killed over 20,000 Palestinian students in last three years across Gaza and occupied West Bank

More than 20,000 Palestinian students and over 1,000 education workers have been killed across Gaza and the occupied West Bank since October 2023, according to figures released by the Palestinian Education Ministry.

The ministry said 20,748 students and 1,058 educational and administrative staff have been killed, while thousands more have been injured or detained and dozens of educational institutions have been destroyed or targeted.

In Gaza, 19,189 school students and 1,386 university students were killed, while 28,586 school students and 3,082 university students were injured. The ministry said 805 school staff and 246 university personnel were also killed, with thousands more injured.

In the occupied West Bank, 134 school students and 39 university students were killed, while Israeli occupation forces detained 416 school students and 481 university students.

Seven school staff members were killed, while more than 176 teachers and school employees and 21 university staff members were detained, according to the ministry.
