❗️US-funded Israeli group pushes West Bank annexation and Palestinian expulsion plan for security elite

An investigation by Haaretz found that Herut, an Israeli organization backed by the US-based Tikvah Fund, is working to cultivate a new right-wing elite within Israel's security and government institutions.

Herut runs the Churchill Program, which has been completed by 65 participants, including Shin Bet chief David Zini, and received $5 million from Tikvah in 2024.

A document prepared by Churchill Program participants outlines a strategic vision that does not regard peace as a goal, instead calling for the expansion of Israeli occupation forces and preparations for multi-front wars.

The document also advocates annexing the occupied West Bank, dissolving the Palestinian Authority and encouraging the "voluntary migration" of Palestinians, i.e. ethnic cleansing, with its authors projecting that 750,000 Palestinians would be forcibly displaced over two decades.
