❗️CENTCOM denies Iranian reports of US Navy helicopter crash in Red Sea

US Central Command (CENTCOM) has rejected reports from Iranian media claiming that a US Navy MH-60R helicopter crashed in the Red Sea after declaring an emergency.

CENTCOM described the reports as "false" and said all US military aircraft and personnel across the region are "safe and accounted for."

The denial follows reports that the helicopter declared an emergency while flying near Saudi Arabia on Monday before disappearing from publicly available flight-tracking data.

The US Navy had not initially confirmed whether the aircraft had crashed or provided details on the incident.
