VIDEO | Israeli occupation forces demolished a five-story residential building containing 10 apartments in the At-Tur neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem after residents received a final demolition notice a day earlier, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.

The governorate said Israeli authorities had pursued the residents for years with demolition orders and fines while refusing to issue building permits.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was reportedly seen riding the bulldozer carrying out the demolition, according to eyewitnesses.

The Jerusalem Governorate said Israel has carried out 139 demolitions and land-leveling operations in East Jerusalem between July and September alone.
