Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran will "respond decisively" if the US continues the war, while reiterating that Iran did not initiate hostilities.

In an interview with Fox News, Pezeshkian said Tehran had reached and signed an agreement with US President Donald Trump and remained willing to advance it, adding that the framework had also been agreed upon.

Pezeshkian said Iran had not closed the Strait of Hormuz before the US-Israeli attacks and accused Washington of attacking Iran "without any justification or legal framework."

He also rejected claims that the US had brought a "gift" to the Iranian people, saying Trump had instead brought "guided missiles, heavy weapons, and destruction." Pezeshkian said Iran would "resist until the very end" and overcome its economic difficulties.
