❗️UN adds 61 companies to database linked to Jewish Israeli settlements

The UN human rights office on Friday added 61 companies operating in Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank to its database, which the UN considers illegal.

The database, first published in 2020, now contains 214 companies, most of them Israeli, alongside firms from 10 other countries, including France, Germany, China and the US.

Among the companies newly added are Israeli pesticide manufacturer ADAMA, which is part of Chinese-owned Syngenta Group, Israel-based real estate investment holding company Alony Hetz and Spain's Salvat Logistica.

They join firms already listed, including travel agency Expedia and home-rental company Airbnb.
