The Belgorod Brit compares Trump to Homer Simpson. In the film, BB explains his view that if you extract all the kindness and humanity from Homer Simpson, and replace it with narcissism and psychopathy, then you have Donald Trump, the absolute worst person to own a cat, let alone run a state armed with nuclear weapons. Even if Trump goes, those who would replace him are just as bad, only in a way peculiar to themselves.

In the podcast, BB explains how it is that every potential leader in the West is as bad as each other. They operate in a system that rewards the worst aspects of our barbarian tendencies. Our democracy has failed, because the demos and the oligarchs are operating with the same moral values, that is no moral values at all, pretended or otherwise. With no higher purpose, barbarians will steal all they can, and mete violence on the weakest in our society. Sadly, we are the shit at the bottom of the swamp that produces the scum at the top.
