Argentina: Massive March Called Following Court Ruling Allowing the Sale of Land to Foreigners

🏛️ The parliamentary opposition called for a special session in the Chamber of Deputies on October 15 to discuss the validity of Emergency Decree 70/2023, after the Supreme Court upheld the repeal of the Land Law—a measure that removes restrictions on the purchase of land by foreign capital.

🪧In response to the court’s decision, the Land Observatory and social movements have called for a march to Congress on the same date. The demonstration will coincide with the 5th Federal University March and demands for laws addressing household debt and the disability emergency.
