🇦🇷 Argentina: The Church Warned That the Pope Will Find a Country in Poverty

🚨 The Archbishop of Córdoba, Ángel Rossi, issued a warning about the country’s severe socioeconomic crisis ahead of the upcoming visit of Pope Leo XIV, noting that the Pontiff will find a nation “ravaged by poverty” and plagued by vulnerability.

🗣️ Rossi sharply criticized the government’s official narrative regarding the country’s economy, accusing authorities of “living on Mars.” The prelate warned of social exhaustion and a lack of prospects due to the population’s growing disillusionment.

📍 The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge García Cuerva, stated that the pastoral visit will take place in an “Argentina wounded” to its core, marked by deep internal divisions and the precarious conditions faced by millions of citizens.
