🇬🇧🇪🇺🇵🇸⚡️ — A former bodyguard of the late Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh obtained asylum in Britain in 2015 and later gained citizenship before allegedly helping coordinate attacks against Jewish targets in Europe, according to The Times.

The man, identified as “Mr X” for legal reasons, had known Hamas connections and had previously been arrested in Egypt over an alleged weapons-smuggling tunnel. He later lived in suburban England, working as an IT consultant under multiple legal names.

German prosecutors accuse him of helping plan attacks on Jewish community centres, Israeli diplomats and pro-Israel demonstrations in Germany and Austria around the second anniversary of October 7.

He allegedly transported five pistols and ammunition from Berlin to Vienna and recorded a video claiming responsibility on behalf of Hamas’s military wing.

British authorities arrested him in London last November following an international investigation involving Germany, Austria, Denmark and the UK.

Mr X remains in British custody and faces extradition to Germany, where he is charged with procuring weapons for Hamas.
