🇮🇱❌🇹🇷 — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered an interministerial team and legal officials to prepare a case against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to i24NEWS.

The proposed case would focus primarily on Türkiye's "treatment of its Kurdish population" and allegations that Erdoğan’s government has financed Hamas.

Neither Israel nor Türkiye is a party to the ICC’s Rome Statute, and Israeli officials are considering pursuing the case through a third party.

Sources told i24NEWS that Israel hopes to use the potential legal proceedings as leverage against Erdoğan rather than necessarily filing the case.
