v5.1.0 Beta 2
- Fixed backup failures for some apps

v5.1.0 Beta 1

Android 17 Support
- Swift Backup now targets Android 17.
- Added support for Android 17's Local network permission so LAN/self-hosted backups continue to work with local servers via SMB, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV, etc.
- Improved app install/restore result handling.

New: Folder Backups
- Backup important folders to device storage or supported cloud services.
- Choose Single Backup to keep one up-to-date backup, or Incremental Backup to save only files changed since the previous backup.
- Restore folders to their original location or choose a custom restore location.
- Built to handle large folders, including folders with thousands of small files.

New Backup Format
- New backup format for faster backup/restore, smoother progress updates, and better handling of complex Android app data used by apps like Termux, Android Virtualization Terminal, etc.
- Important: Backups created with v5.1.0 cannot be restored using older Swift Backup versions. Please update Swift Backup before restoring these backups on another device.
- Existing backups created by older Swift Backup versions can still be restored in v5.1.0.

App Backups
- Special app data backup/restore now includes notification channel settings and backed-up permission choices, including both allowed and denied permissions.
- Improved restore behavior for apps that expect to be installed from the Play Store.
- App backup/restore is now faster and shows better task progress with the new backup format.
- Added a new Backup details view in the app detail screen under the backup’s 3-dot menu.
- Added APK/APKs sharing from installed apps and app backups, including split APK sets. You can export and import APK files through Android’s share menu.

Cloud
- Mega.nz now uses Swift Backup’s lighter built-in implementation instead of the large Mega SDK, reducing app size while keeping Mega backup/restore support.
- Added Cloud diagnostics to help identify cloud backup connection and transfer issues.
- Added local server discovery for supported self-hosted and LAN cloud services.
- Improved cloud setup with branded S3-compatible and WebDAV provider presets.
- Improved reliability for Dropbox, Box, Yandex.Disk, WebDAV, FTP/FTPS, OneDrive, and Mega.nz.
- Improved transfer progress, speed display, resume and cancellation behavior.
- Schedules now show a clearer error when cloud backup is skipped because cloud is not connected.

Design and Usability
- Added search to quickly find apps, folder setups, shortcuts, and quick actions.
- App lists now scroll more smoothly and support swipe actions for launch/uninstall.
- Refreshed onboarding, settings, dashboard, premium, and cloud setup.

Other Improvements
- Schedules can be run manually even when turned off.
- Faster SwiftLogger export preparation.
