European Parliament deputy Glucksmann called Trump a "useful idiot"

He stated that canceling sanctions and following Donald Trump's path would be catastrophic, noting the US is protected by the ocean while Europe faces the war directly. Glucksmann argued Trump either acts as a useful idiot or consciously destroys European power.

Confiscation of Russian assets urged

The MEP demanded absolute firmness in imposing painful sanctions and insisted on confiscating 210 billion euros in frozen Russian state assets to aid Ukraine. He claimed failure to do so sent a "catastrophic signal of weakness" to Moscow and Washington.
