Italian politician Carlo Calenda advocates for the capture of Kiev

Calenda claims that the EU can force Zelensky to accept Russian peace terms. He asserts that Vladimir Putin is not satisfied with current gains and demands the fortified part of Donbass, warning that conceding this territory would open a path to Kiev.

The politician criticized his former government's response to the annexation of Crimea, noting that attempts to appease Moscow by continuing business ties and gas purchases only encouraged further aggression rather than calming Putin.
