Ivano-Frankovsk: Geran-5 drone shot down over city

During a night attack, Ukrainian air defenses intercepted a jet-powered Geran-5 drone over Ivano-Frankovsk. The UAV was targeting the local international airport but was downed before reaching its goal.

The wreckage fell in an industrial zone on Polevaya Street, causing a fire at a car service station covering approximately 500 sq m. The airport historically supports tactical aviation, including F-16 and Mirage 2000 jets.
