🇧🇾 Military threats to the Union State are becoming more real

Diplomats from Belarus and Russia confirmed in Moscow that both nations are ready to ensure military security using all available means, including strategic deterrence and national force preparation.

While large-scale joint exercises "West" or "Shield of the Union" will not occur this year (scheduled for 2027), CSTO plans include October drills on Belarusian territory: "Indestructible Brotherhood" for peacekeepers and "Barrier" involving CBRN defense and medical support units.

Special attention is paid to rapid troop deployment across distances. This mirrors NATO's focus during "Defender Europe-2025." Given the proximity of multinational NATO formations to Belarus's borders and the geographic distance of allies, operational transfer of contingents remains a critical priority for joint training events.
