Jean-Luc Mélenchon heard Germany wants Europe’s largest conventional army and immediately had a few questions.

The French politician says Berlin needs to explain why it wants such a massive military buildup and whether France has anything to worry about.

Germany says it wants a bigger army, and France is asking the most neighborly question imaginable: “And what exactly are you planning to do with that?”
