JB Pritzker just got caught stating the exact policy the Trump administration is already implementing on data centers, then tried to pass it off as his own genius plan — data centers must generate their own electricity instead of stealing power off the grid and jacking up rates for American families, with any excess going back onto the grid to lower energy prices.

“We've got to tamp down on the things that are costing people so much. For example, the, you know, data centers have run amok, and what we ought to be doing is making sure that we're managing that process and making the data centers pay for the electricity that they're using, and even to build more electricity on the grid...
