🐎 104 WILD HORSES RELEASED BACK INTO WYOMING’S BIGHORN BASIN

The Bureau of Land Management has released 104 wild horses back into the Bighorn Basin after roughly 350 horses were rounded up to address overpopulation. The BLM said the operation was intended to strengthen the long-term health of the herd and the rangelands they rely on, which have been strained by prolonged overpopulation and severe drought. Recent infrared aerial surveys reportedly found the population above the established appropriate management level of 100 to 230 horses.
