Christopher Rufo says schools across blue and red states are beginning to move away from what he describes as excessive focus on BLM, George Floyd and transgender ideology and return to core academics and what parents want. “Most importantly, focusing on what kids actually need,” Rufo said, arguing that young children need to learn their ABCs rather than be exposed to political or ideological displays. Jessica Tarlov also agreed that some institutions have gone too far and are now moderating.
