Please find below information about a three-year postdoctoral position in spatial biology and bioinformatics currently available in my group at the Kennedy Institute, University of Oxford.
I am seeking a postdoctoral researcher with a background in bioinformatics and/or AI/ML and experience in analysing single-cell and spatial omics datasets to work on an exciting interdisciplinary project investigating the role of mechanical forces in lung fibrosis:
https://shorturl.at/LLS5r
This project uses a pioneering approach, spatial mechanomics (A. Hallou et al., A computational pipeline for spatial mechano-transcriptomics, Nature Methods 22, 737–750, 2025), to characterise at single-cell resolution the spatial changes in cell mechanics and gene expression that occur in lung fibrosis using both patient samples and mouse models.
Please feel free to share this opportunity with your contacts, particularly PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who might be interested.
With many thanks and best wishes,
Adrien
