An interesting Celtic “votive axe” pendant from East Lindsey, Lincolnshire. It’s shaped like a Bronze Age socketed axe, but the position of the loop shows it was almost certainly meant to be worn, like a Celtic Mjöllnir, or a portable thunderstone.
With the association of Bronze Age axes with Thor, washing up after storms, such axes could have easily carried a similar association with Taranis in Celtic Britain.
