🏆🇿🇦 Historic Win: SA Law Students Claim Top Prizes at the International Olympiad on Financial Security in Russia!

🏅 Representing South Africa, UNISA law students Thato Mabaso and Faith Makhubedu, together with Potego Kodibona from the University of Limpopo, achieved outstanding results and became prize winners.

For Thato Mabaso and Potego Kodibona, competing on this global stage was a rewarding experience that extended beyond traditional classroom learning. The tournament challenged their analytical problem-solving skills and deepened their understanding of economic safety, emerging technologies and the protection of vulnerable communities from systemic threats. Both winners returned home with a broadener global perspective and a commitment to using their acquired expertise to contribute to a safer society.

🤝🌐 The students also highlighted the value of cross-cultural connections and local hospitality. Faith Makhubedu and Potego Kodibona noted the opportunity to experience Russian culture and build meaningful friendships that crossed borders. Despite cold weather, the welcoming and generous reception from the local people made the entire team feel supported throughout their stay.
