🚀🇷🇺 On 29 September 2026, #Roscosmos showcased its latest space tech breakthroughs at the "Microelectronics 2026" forum. Industry official Dmitry Bakanov presented the successful integration of domestic processors and Artificial Intelligence into Russia's cutting-edge space hardware. These advancements mark a major step in technological sovereignty, proving that the country stands shoulder-to-shoulder with global tech giants.

🛰⚡️The forum highlighted two massive hardware achievements currently operating in Russia's rocket and satellite fleets. For the first time, a fully domestic eight-core "Elbrus" processor controls the next-generation Soyuz-5 rocket, significantly cutting power consumption and boosting data speeds. Meanwhile, the Obzor-R radar satellite – powered by a domestic active phased array with over 1,150 transceiver modules – has been operating flawlessly since December 2025, capturing clear surface images through dense clouds and darkness.

✨ Beyond hardware, Russia has deployed advanced AI into orbital operations to streamline space research and Earth observation. On the International Space Station, the GigaChat platform autonomously converts astronauts' voice notes into structured scientific logs, already producing over 350 reports. This AI also processes remote sensing data to detect illegal deforestation, paving the way for its integration into future lunar rovers.
