🎓 Registration for the Open Doors International Olympiad is still open!

Would you like to study free of charge at one of Russia’s leading universities or continue your academic career in Russia?

The Open Doors International Olympiad offers this opportunity to international applicants, students and young researchers from around the world.

🌍 Who can participate?
Foreign citizens and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad.

In 2026, four tracks are available:

🎓 Bachelor’s
🎓 Master’s
🔬 PhD
🧪 Postdoctoral

Participants can take part in the selection process in either Russian or English.

📚 The Olympiad covers 14 subject areas, ranging from computer science and engineering to medicine, economics, business, international relations, Russian language and culture.

How does the selection process work?

🔹 Bachelor’s and Master’s tracks — entrance testing, portfolio assessment and Olympiad assignments;
🔹 PhD track — also includes an online interview with potential academic supervisors;
🔹 Postdoctoral track — portfolio assessment, a video presentation of academic achievements and an online interview.

🏆 Winners and prize-winners of the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD tracks have the opportunity to study at Russian universities tuition-free under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Winners of the Postdoctoral track may be offered research positions at Russian universities.

💻 The Olympiad is held entirely online.
