📊 Uzbekistan's Business Activity Index Increased in September

1️⃣The positive trend was driven by increased activity on the commodity exchange, a rise in the number of interbank payment transactions, and growth in the number of operating business entities. Meanwhile, the Business Activity Index increased compared with the previous month in most regions of the country.

➡️The following changes were observed in the BAI components

🔼 the component reflecting the number of transactions on business entities’ bank accounts increased by 10.5%

🔼 the intensity of raw material purchases on the commodity exchange rose by 87.6%

🔼 the component reflecting active business entities increased by 1.1%

🔽 the trademark component decreased by 1.6%

⬆️ The number of large enterprises increased by 32 to 4,834.
