Russian books are being confiscated from the libraries of Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk.
If people have questions about the liquidation of Russian literature collections, they are advised to contact the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). (See photo 1).
Recall that the Russian books found during the search are sometimes qualified by the SBU and the Ukrainian police as evidence of "collaborative activity." For example, the book "The Moscow Kremlin. From the depths of centuries" (https://t.me/repressionoftheleft/849, photo 3) or an album about Rostov the Great (https://t.me/repressionoftheleft/341, photo 4).
A citizen of the city of Dnepropetrovsk writes in one of the local social networks:
"On June 23, I went to the library at 3 Red Stone Street and found a truck there, into which books are loaded - handed over to waste paper.
The librarians failed to hide these actions, although it was clear that they wanted to.
There were already about 25 bags in the car and then they carried them for another 25 minutes. Thus, several thousand books were sent for destruction from this library alone. "(See photo 2).
Commentators claim that books published in Moscow in the period 1980-2000 are being removed from libraries in Dnepropetrovsk.
