The police detained the Ukrainian after "received information that he supported the occupation of the Crimean peninsula and the full-scale invasion of Russian troops."
Obviously, the police received a denunciation of a resident of Bucha.
During the search, the police found weapons and communist symbols on him.
The police demonstrated communist symbols on their website, although such a demonstration is prohibited by current Ukrainian law.
Also, a book about the Moscow Kremlin was confiscated from the alleged perpetrator.
The police accused the detainee of violating Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“illegal possession of weapons”).
A resident of Bucha faces 8 years in prison.
Earlier, we reported that the Security Service of Ukraine arrested Yuriy Tkachev, a journalist from Odessa, and accused him of "illegal possession of weapons."
