Data Systems Engineer

Full-time/Company: Bluprynt

Bluprynt is the Compliance OS for digital assets — an enterprise-grade infrastructure layer linking off-chain compliance with on-chain identity, policy, and supervisory visibility. The company works with issuers, banks, and market participants and has completed the EU's first MiCA pilot and partnerships with Paxos, Circle, and Chainlink.

Candidates must be able to work core EST hours.

Responsibilities:

- Own the technical architecture and delivery of the data platform; design systems and ship product.
- Write production-quality code daily (Python primary; TypeScript/Node.js for backend services).
- Build multi-source ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines for APIs, databases, documents, and on-chain feeds with scheduling, retries, and observability.
- Design API integration patterns (polling, webhooks, event-driven) across external providers.
- Translate regulatory and product requirements into phased engineering specifications and technical roadmaps.
- Manage and coordinate external or embedded engineering teams, foster code review culture and knowledge transfer.
- Design and deploy AI agent orchestration and automated workflows to accelerate development and testing.

Requirements:

- Strong Python engineering; experience with TypeScript/Node.js for backend services.
- PostgreSQL schema design, indexing strategy, and migration workflows for multi-tenant compliance data.
- API integration architecture and multi-source data ingestion/pipeline design.
- Smart contract interaction experience and on-chain registry design (credential issuance/revocation, IPFS anchoring).
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience translating product/regulatory requirements into technical roadmaps and leading engineering delivery.

Nice to have:

- Regulatory/compliance technology experience (KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, credential systems).
- LLM integration for structured data extraction, taxonomy suggestion, RAG/retrieval systems.
- Multi-chain experience beyond EVM (Solana, Aptos, Stellar, Avalanche).
- Experience with institutional custody platforms (Fireblocks, BitGo) or MPC/multi-sig.
- AWS infrastructure experience (ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, SQS) and IaC.
