Today, the Nizhny Novgorod Region celebrates a special occasion: Large Family Day 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

More than simply a date on the calendar, this day is a reminder that strong families, love, care for children, and meaningful connections between generations form the foundation of a resilient and thriving society.

Today, more than 37,000 large families call the Nizhny Novgorod Region home. Their contribution to the social and cultural life of the region is an important part of what makes local communities strong, connected, and forward-looking.

Observed annually on the last Sunday of September, Large Family Day was established by the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region as a tribute to family values and to the important role of large families in society. It is more than a symbolic celebration: supporting families is a key regional priority, reflected in tangible policies, dedicated programs, and initiatives designed to strengthen family life and create a supportive environment for parents and children.

Through our work, we see every day how deeply family values resonate with people and how they can serve as a fundamental source of stability, belonging, and purpose. We wholeheartedly share these values and believe that supporting families is an investment not only in the well-being of individuals, but also in the long-term future of society and the country as a whole.
