According to the latest ranking, the region’s unemployment rate stood at just 0.9% in the second quarter.

There is another important point to note: the figure has declined compared with the same period last year. In other words, the region is not simply maintaining its leading position — it continues to strengthen its performance.

On average, residents of Nizhny Novgorod Region find a new job within 4.5 months. This reflects both the exceptionally low level of unemployment and the dynamics of the local labour market: opportunities are available, while finding the right position can naturally take some time.
