Calendar/Event reminder

What do you guys use for events/reminders? I've researched and it seems that radicale would be the backbone, and I could use my phone calendar app but I am looking for a selfhosted calendar interface so I can be cross platform notified. I mean, I am already using Google calendar and it works fine but the point is to get away Google. I looked into Infcloud and Davros but at least the images I tried they're outdate and php based. My idea was to have a web interface calendar where I can put events and use ntfy as the one sending the notifications. Or should I just use Home Assistant's calendar?
