If Rainbow Dash was not a Wonderbolt, what would she be?

I was thinking of writing an AU where Rainbow quits the Wonderbolts academy and isn’t stopped by Spitfire so she’s stuck having seemingly no life purpose. What would she do instead? Before you ask, no she does not make/join the Washouts. It’s more a matter of what purpose would she serve to Ponyville?
