The National's correspondent Nada Homsi joins an Israeli-permitted convoy into besieged villages in southern Lebanon.

Since invading the south, the Israeli occupation has imposed a sectarian divide between Lebanon's Christians and Shia Muslims: several Christian villages have been spared from demolition and displacement on the condition that they do not shelter Shia Muslims displaced from neighboring villages, which Israel has razed and emptied of their residents.
