A CNN investigation has found that Jared Kushner's private equity firm Affinity Partners holds the largest stake in Phoenix Financial, an Israeli company that backs Elbit Systems, Israel's largest arms manufacturer, whose bombs and tank shells have been traced to Israeli strikes killing Palestinians in Gaza.

Kushner doubled his stake in Phoenix just before Trump returned to power and brought him back as a Gaza ceasefire broker.

He is now the man deciding whether to pressure Israel over its conduct, while his firm profits from the weapons it uses.
