Hundreds of mourners in Gaza City take part in the funeral of the remains of 105 Palestinians killed in an Israeli attack on the Al-Taj residential area in October 2023. Their remains were recently recovered from beneath the rubble of buildings destroyed in the attack.

The assault involved 20 US-made GBU-31 bombs, each weighing nearly one ton, which destroyed the entire residential block. At least 221 bodies have since been recovered from the site, while the fate of dozens of others remains unknown.
