A US federal court dismissed a lawsuit against The Palestine Chronicle and editor Dr. Ramzy Baroud after three plaintiffs voluntarily withdrew the case.

Judge Tiffany Cartwright granted the dismissal on September 15, ending more than two years of litigation over allegations linking the outlet to the plaintiffs’ captivity in Gaza through reports by journalist Abdallah Aljamal.

The Chronicle denied wrongdoing, while its lawyer Dan Kovalik called the outcome “a big victory.”
