💎 What Creates the Value of QR Art? Part 4 — Social Value
Continuing to explore the value of QR Art, I came to the idea that some QR codes become valuable not because of the image or even the information inside them.
Their value comes from people.
QR Art can create a connection between people through a physical object. This is what social value means: someone creates a QR Art, places it somewhere, and another person scans it — creating an interaction between them.
Sometimes it’s small.
Sometimes it can be very meaningful.
For example:
🤝 QR Art can bring people together around a community.
A club member sticker.
Access to a private chat.
A symbol of belonging to a group.
❤️ QR Art can create new connections and conversations.
A message on the wall of a coffee shop.
QR Art on a T-shirt.
A link to someone's profile.
One scan can become the beginning of a conversation.
🆘 QR Art can help people.
Contact information for a pet owner.
First-aid instructions.
A link to volunteers or useful information.
In this case, QR Art becomes a bridge between those who can help and those who need help.
What’s interesting is that in all of these cases, the value is not created by the QR code itself.
The value is created by the people who interact through it.
Therefore, the social value of QR Art is not the information inside the QR.
It is the connections that emerge around it.
And sometimes, a single connection can be worth far more than the image or the link itself.
