The multiple tabs of same website problem is real. I think browser tabs do their job well, but as generalized solutions go, built-in tabs may fall short of providing a great user experience for your specific use case.

Technically, there's nothing stopping you from building your own multitasking solution inside your website. Be it floating windows, tabs, tiling windows like i3/hyperland or even hybrid. Maybe go as far as PostHog went, if it makes sense for you.

I observed in Sber our users sometimes would open up multiple (5-6) tabs to cross-reference resources. Giving them a business/domain orientated multitasking solution should, in theory, speed up their workflow if done right. However, it should be a calculated decision to spend teams resources on. Especially when there's business features piled up.

Probably 90% of the details went over my head but Casey did such an amazing job at simplifying the concept. His explanation using the example of Windows volume slider UI part especially helped me to relate to some organizational and coding conundrums I have experienced as a frontend dev.

If I look closer I see Conways law recurring everywhere. We literally have written same UI that serve almost the same purpose in two separate teams recently.

And Casey reminds it’s not the ideal situation and we should be on the lookout for better ways to solve these issues.

Nginx loglarini ko'rib turish uchun oddiyroq exporter + visualizer qidirgan edim. ELK (Elastic stack) juda overkill men uchun. Javob - GoAcess, yengil, tez va set up qilish oson.

Uni hozircha systemd timer bilan har daqiqada loglarni yangilab turadigan qilib qo'ydim. Kelajakda systemd socket activation bilan "on demand" bo'lganda ishga tushib boshqa payt umuman resurs yemaydigan qilish plan bor.

Atrofingizdagi odamlar nima bilan bandligi, qiziqishlari yokida muammolari sizga tasir qilmay qo'ymaydi. Ayniqsa, yangi boshlagan dasturchi sifatida qancha o'zingizdan kuchli, ko'p narsa biladigan odamlar orasida bo'lsangiz shuncha yaxshi. Bu deyarli hamma soxa uchun tog'ri gap menimcha.

Shaxsiy hikoya:

Nisbatan kech bo'lsada SQL o'rgana boshlaganim haqida yozgandim.

Kecha tuni bilan Data injiner bo'lib ishlaydigan do'stim duch kelgan muammolarga yechim izladik. ETL pipelineni optimizatsiya qildik. Pythonda biroz kod yozishga, threading bilan ishlashga va remote databasedan katta miqdordagi malumotlarni yuklashda duch kelinadigan to'siqlar haqida o'rganishga ulgurdim. Bir kechada juda ko'p narsa o'rgandim. Bundan tashqari ohirgi ~2 oy ichida undan Airflow, DAG, ETL'lar haqida o'rgangandim.

Hozirda ham Proyekt Menejer bo'lib ishlaydigan, Go, Java tillarida yozadigan va DevOps bilan shug'ullanadigan do'stlarimdan ko'p narsalar haqida o'rganib kelaman. Bu menga dasturiy taminot yaratilish jarayonini turli nuqtalardan kuzatishga yordam beradi.

Bazida ularga frontend tarafdan narsalar qanday ishlashini tushuntiraman. Bu esa kelajakda frontend dasturchilar bilan yaqinroq, ularning muammolarini tushungan holda ishlashga yordam beradi.
