🗣More information: The postdoctoral researcher will be tasked with theoretically investigating how to exploit the deformation of a mechanical oscillator to create a new type of mechanical qubit. This project will be carried out in collaboration with two experimental groups.
The successful candidate must hold (or be about to defend) a PhD in theoretical physics, ideally in one of the following fields: quantum mechanical systems, condensed matter physics, or quantum optics. A strong aptitude for a nuanced understanding of physical phenomena, as well as a curiosity for the theoretical challenges associated with quantum technologies, will be major assets. An openness to close collaboration with experimental teams will further enhance this profile.
