🗣More information: The project is to develop methods and tools for the formal verification of the security of quantum key distribution (QKD) and possibly other quantum cryptographic protocols. The research will consist both of developing the methods/foundations, as well as formalizing security definitions and concrete protocols. A focus is on actual quantum protocols (i.e., not just post-quantum cryptography), for example QKD or position verification or quantum commitments, etc., just to name some illustrative examples. The right choice of protocol, definitions, and techniques will also be part of the research work.
