Сегодня Петербургъ хмурится и щетинится ветромъ. Но мы не въ обиде, понимаемъ. Сами знакомы съ перепадами настроения въ день, когда становишься старше на годъ. У насъ ты вызываешь тепло въ груди даже въ лютую холодину (какъ тогда, когда мы снимали свой первый литературный циклъ по «Преступлению и наказанию»).

Одни тебя романтизируютъ, другие демонизируютъ, а третьи просто здесь живутъ. И понимаютъ, что это городъ не какихъ-то особенныхъ утончённыхъ людей или, наоборотъ, снобовъ, а какъ и везде – разныхъ.

Такъ пусть здесь будетъ хорошо разнымъ людямъ! И пусть разные люди делаютъ что-то хорошее здесь. Съ днёмъ рождения, любимый городъ! Процветания, развития, человечности!

Today St Petersburg is frowning and bristling with wind. It is no offence, we get it only too well. We also know the mood swings the day we get a year older. But you warm our hearts up even in the freezing cold (as it was when we were shooting our first literary video cycle on “Crime and Punishment”).

Some romanticize you, others demonize you, while some just live in you. The latter realize that this is no city of some special, sophisticated people or the reverse – of snobs, but like everywhere else people are different here.

So let it be a good place for all kinds of people! And let all kinds of people do something good here. Happy birthday, our beloved city! Prosperity, progress, and benevolence to you!
