Chief Engineer / Deputy Director for Production (Alluvial Gold Deposits), Gold mining company

Responsibilities:
- Organize and provide technical leadership for all production activities at alluvial gold deposits;
- Ensure production targets for mining, washing and gold recovery are met, and monitor key performance indicators;
- Manage and coordinate the mining, processing, maintenance and power divisions;
- Develop and implement production programs, mine schedules and efficiency initiatives;
- Oversee mining technology: stripping, site preparation, sand extraction, washing and concentration;
- Control the condition and efficient use of mining, washing, haulage and auxiliary equipment;
- Drive equipment productivity while reducing downtime and operating costs;
- Take part in planning and overseeing major overhauls, re-equipment and modernization projects;
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety, occupational health, environmental and regulatory requirements;
- Analyze performance, identify the causes of deviations and implement corrective actions;
- Work with the geology team on reserve preparation, sand grade, losses and dilution;
- Help shape the production budget and control spending
- Lead and develop the engineering team, assign responsibilities and track results;
- Liaise with regulatory and supervisory authorities, design firms and contractors.

Requirements:
- A degree in mining engineering, mineral deposit development or a related technical field;
- 3–5+ years in the mining industry, including senior engineering or management roles;
- Hands-on experience developing alluvial gold deposits;
- Experience with dredging and/or open-pit selective mining is a strong advantage;
- Solid knowledge of gold-bearing sand extraction and washing technologies;
- Experience managing a large workforce and a fleet of mining equipment.
