Head of Finance, International Petrochemical Trading & Export

Location: China (Shanghai)

Responsibilities:

Treasury Function:
- Development of banking infrastructure: building a pool of partner banks and financial institutions to ensure access to cash management services, credit lines, and risk insurance instruments.
- Management of the cost of banking services (fees, tariffs).
- Optimization of the working capital structure through the implementation of trade finance instruments.
- Organization of medium- and short-term cash flow management and planning processes.
- Building cross-border payment infrastructure when entering new sales markets.

Financial Controlling:
- Management of the budgeting process: preparation of plans, data consolidation, and monitoring the achievement of target KPIs.
- Implementation of a financial risk monitoring system, development of response procedures, and establishment of control procedures.

Commercial Controlling:
- Development of a system for monitoring and identifying potential commercial opportunities.
- Development of a process for monitoring the effectiveness of interaction with the distribution channel.

Tax Function:
- Identification of fiscal risks and development of a roadmap to minimize them.

Accounting and Tax Accounting:
- Ensuring methodological compliance and accuracy of accounting and tax accounting across all jurisdictions in which the company operates.
- Organization of external financial statement audits and operational oversight of outsourced service providers.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a CFO or Deputy CFO (CFO-1) in a manufacturing or trading company with experience operating in international markets.
- At least 5 years of experience in foreign trade / exports.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing a treasury strategy aimed at optimizing liquidity management, minimizing risks, and improving the efficiency of financial operations.
- Deep understanding of financial management, accounting and tax accounting, financial analysis, and forecasting.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
- Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment; structured, responsible, proactive, and engaged, with a partnership-oriented approach and strong negotiation skills.
