Donald Trump stated that there is “strong animosity” between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. He said this during an address to Republican Party supporters in the state of Ohio ahead of the November elections to the U.S. Congress.

“There is very strong mutual animosity between the two leaders,” he said.

Despite this, the head of the White House said that a peace agreement “will be concluded.”

What else the U.S. president said:

▪️Vladimir Zelensky should focus on reaching a deal, rather than talking about it.

▪️Vladimir Putin wants to reach a deal; now it remains to make Vladimir Zelensky want this as well.

▪️A meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in November is possible.
