ℹ️: On the 3rd of October at about 7:20 AM local time, an air alert was issued for the Odessa region of Ukraine. The alert ended at approximately 8:50 AM local time after the following Russian munitions attacked the area:

- ~12 Banderol cruise missiles
- ~5 drones of various types (including jet-drones)

The attack mainly consisted of Banderol missiles, 3 of which crashed in Moldovan territory. Dozens of Russian jet-drones and other UAVs also attacked regional port infrastructure in Chornomorsk and Izmail throughout the day. Finally, 4 ships were struck by Russian drones in the Black Sea (video).

🇲🇩: A record of 6 drones/missiles violated Moldovan airspace during the last 24 hours. 5 impacts were noted throughout the country.

- On October 3rd, Moldovan defense forces detected 6 unauthorized flights over their territory. 3 of the projectiles detected were reportedly Banderol cruise missiles, all of which impacted near populated areas. The other 3 were drones, only one of which returned to the airspace of Ukraine's Odessa Oblast.
- Additionally, Chisinau Airport operations temporarily ceased twice during the last 24 hours due to an unrelated threat of explosives.
- Damage: A vegetable field was hit by one of the munitions in the village of Crocmaz, southeastern Moldova. Minor damage also occurred to a home as a result of a nearby explosion.
- Moldovan response: The Russian Ambassador to Moldova was yet again summoned in protest by Chisinau.

ℹ️: Summary of recent Russian strikes on Ukraine's industry | PART 5:

- An administration building of the "DTEK Pavlograd" energy infrastructure company was hit by a Geran-5 in Pavlohrad (image).
- On the 2nd of October, the "Venta" pharmaceutical distributor, which includes products from Pfizer and other companies, was hit by a drone in Kyiv (video).
- A building of the "Parkovy" data center in Kyiv was hit by a drone strike and suffered significant damage.
- An "ATB" supermarket warehouse in Kyiv was hit by a Geran-4 strike.
- Russian drones have been routinely striking the "Pivdennyi Bridge" in Kyiv, causing significant transportation issues. Other bridges in Kyiv including the "Paton" and "Metro" bridges have also been temporarily closed, creating major traffic complications.

💥: The Pivdennyi "Southern" Bridge in Kyiv was again targeted today by at least 2 drone strikes.

- According to Kyiv authorities, traffic on the critical transport route was suspended temporarily.
- The drones have been targeting parts of the bridge's support infrastructure.
- There is a threat of missile strikes on the bridge with heavy KN-24 missiles in the near future.

⚠️: U.S. intelligence has reportedly warned Ukraine about the possibility of a massive Russian strike on Kyiv in the next 72 hours.

- Reportedly, Russia has prepared several missiles including North Korean KN-24 ballistic missiles. Geran-4/Geran-5 drones will likely also be used. Finally, there would be a threat of Kalibr missile launches.
- A target of the strike may be the southern Pivdennyi Bridge which is responsible for a significant amount of transport between western and eastern Ukraine.
- Interestingly, a NOTAM is still in place over Kapustin Yar for the next 72 hours. We cannot rule out the possibility of Oreshnik launches, though this is only speculation.

✈️: On the 1st October, likely around 1:15 PM local time, a Ukrainian jet reported as a MiG-29 was shot down by Russian forces over the Zaporizhzhia region.

- The jet was carrying out strikes on Russian positions during the time of the attack. According to FighterBomber, elements of the Russian 58th Army shot it down with a surface-to-air missile.
- This is one of the few instances that Ukrainian media has acknowledged a Russian missile as responsible for a jet crash. It also cannot be ruled out that the plane was actually an F-16.
- The pilot ejected from the plane but failed to survive.

✈️: 2 Tu-160 strategic bombers took off from Ukrainka airbase moments ago. A Tu-22M3 was also reported in the air from Olenya airbase, and 2 MiG-31Ks departed from Akhtubinsk base in Astrakhan Oblast. It is highly likely that this is all related to ongoing training exercises. Several Tu-22M3 and MiG-31K re-deployments have been noted during the last 2 weeks in relation to exercises.

This probably isn't worth a post or notification because its been mentioned 10 times in the last month without credibility, but Zelenskyy thinks North Korea is preparing to send another 10,000+ troops to Russia in the near future.

💥: Ukrainian news networks report that Russia has begun a campaign to target important voltage pylons throughout the country.

- Russia expanding its list of targets to include substations and voltage pylons further stresses Ukraine's power grid on a local level.
- This tactic is possible because of Russia's expanding arsenal of cheap and effective jet-drones, some of which now carry a special warhead designed to cut through iron and electrical cables.

🇲🇩: 3 drone incursions occurred over Moldova on the 30th of September during Russian attacks on the Odessa region of Ukraine.

- In the early morning at around 5:36 AM local time, a drone crashed near the village of Hirbovat. Debris reportedly hit a civilian communications antenna.
- Another drone entered the country near Dubasari and was tracked heading north before disappearing from radars.
- An explosion was seen near the village of Branesti after a 3rd drone incursion was reported (video).
- The Moldovan Ministry of Defense temporarily closed the country's northern and central airspace due to the incidents.

🇮🇱: An Israeli flight carrying 180 passengers from the UAE to Israel may have been hijacked by unknown perpetrators.

- The flight was last seen approaching Jordan before taking a sudden southern turn towards Saudi Arabia.
- Emergency codes indicating an "emergency" and "hijacking" were issued by the pilots. Ground control has not made any contact with the plane ever since.

UPDATE: The pilots were reported as Omani and UAE citizens.

- A drone impact was seen in Lutsk. Black smoke is rising over the city.

- Kyiv authorities warn that Russia is beginning a campaign to destroy substations and energy facilities city-wide.
