Have no juice, but got some.. milk? Ha, have a cow.
Went for 'boring' as I'm continuously missing the drive for critters of my own, and these kind of studies aren't even boring in the process, however I'm not having much of the understanding either without proper research. But I don't care for now - just have an approximate grasp and mooooove on.

While I work my way through some complex emotions, one should expect bloodbath, tears, other gross stuff and characters smeared all over the imagined surfaces.

This is the end of the flight for this poor bird. Well, at least it was as far back as 2022 the original sketch went. Just giving the honors with the proper-ish rendition I'm capable of now.

I don't usually talk much about my personal life, but in fact this past month has been incredibly overwhelming for me ever since my cat started having urinary problems

It breaks my heart to see what Oliver is going through; only I know just how important this kitty has been in my life

I found myself needing to organize this raffle for financial relief,
he will require medication and a special diet for an indefinite period

I will do everything humanly possible to help him; he is currently undergoing treatment and making regular vet visits to monitor his progress. He has bladder stones and a urinary tract infection

Speaking of resource, expect barely any activity for the season. I am inviting a full embrace of a depression episode, which inevitably caught up on me after extended dopamine highs.
The moment I was thinking "to hell with that" towards something I was really passionate about I immediately knew what's the deal, and it's not exactly something that wasn't expected. The signs were there even before I took a vacation, and more free time eventually was taken by the mean brain worms hostage.
I take it as a signal to take serious care of myself before my job sucks me dry once again.

Got this one a little more developed yesterday while I still had some resource.

Also had some wing studies and legit - feathery wings have like extreme level of complexity and there's not much shortcuts except custom brushes and copious amounts of selection deformations. I cannot express how mindblowing the traditional bird and gryphon artists have that insane amount of patience with them.

Please have a griffin butt in these trying times

So I actually ran the numbers. The fund already easily covers 2 weeks and some AND processing expenses if I pause the business and don't pay taxes for the vacation period.

Can't thank you enough y'all. It feels absolutely surreal to actually plan such a long break after 3 years of "weekends only". Your generosity and actual care is really something out of this world and I really mean it. 💚

I'll keep the goal running for anyone dropping a coin last second, these I'll move towards celebration!

A little update. Completely out of scope being a study, but I'm having fun figuring out all these little details and scutes and spikes and texturing. Really soothing stuff.

And so I'll be 35lvl this Friday.

I will be hitting another level up on this planet Earth, so I've decided to put a donobox for a retirement fund once again! Just kidding, it's birthday/vacation goal, with the merit of truth.

Yeah, it's dire, not an emergency though.

Situation is - I am currently extremely burned out on my contracted job while being practically unable to take vacations, or even consecutive day-offs and take proper rest. It has been like that for 3 years. Any day taken off means I just don't get paid for the hours, and just 3 days off would force the balance into negative for the whole month. I can't take any more days as I'm just wearing myself event faster, nor the company would promote me or give a simple rate increase unless I show effort for 3 people while being paid for barely half of 1. And I won't be busting my ass for giving me a stink-eye because I hate garbage processes and their greed.

To be clear, I'm lucky to have stable income, but even with the weekends, 3 years without somewhat prolonged rest has been awful for my mental health. It's bad - I'm just staring at the screen during tasks and not processing what I see with my brain blanking out. I'm at risk of being laid-off or impulsively quitting as I'm no longer wanting to even care. At the moment, I don't have anything lined up, nor I have the resource for humiliation (hiring) rituals.

I'm okay financially and prepared for the worst to happen, but if I could offload some of the economic strain, and maybe still have fun or simply loaf for a week straight - that would definitely help. Initial goal already got blown through, stretched it to 2nd week (you know who you are - you're all just fantastic. Thank you!) If I'm to get a second week it would be reasonable to freeze the business for the vacation days so I don't pay fixed tax for those.

We're on fire recently, another flying dragon meanie! That makes it two. I'd imagine it's a good idea to build an army for hunting down billionaires and CEO's of corporations of my, uh, headworld! Yes!

Could you imagine the idea was from the 'breaking ice' doodle from 2021? Who would've thought! I'll put the original in the comments to see it in full glory haha

Behold - the most angery dragon in my whole history of drawing!

Another WIP that has been in the works since forever, that's the version 3. Very first one existed since 2022. It's a real challenge to figure out, but I don't mind hurdles anymore -I'm enjoying the process of overcoming difficult angles and foreshortening.

Dropping the very unhealthy critical overthinking has been pushing my skill really far forward.

Remember this one? It gets an upgrade too! Just a bit of the revamp and fun time with the forms before I bring out references and start to refine.

Had a quite shitty week so this dragon is giving me a very relevant clue to get some oh so sweet rest before tomorrow's shift.

It has been almost 15 years since mr. Greens made his first appearance. It's time to commemorate it with the reference upgrade!

Still work in progress, but it always will be - and should be! Hopefully I will only be improving from now on. From lows and highs, through fire and pipes, I'm still here, better than ever.

I'm glad to be back. And I feel much happier now.
