In Kuzbass, a bear wandered into a residential area and feasted on hawthorn berries. The bear plucked the berries straight from the bush and paid no attention to the homeowners’ shouts. Our video includes footage of this encounter.

This is not the first time a wild animal has come into contact with people in the region. What dangers does this pose, and how can you protect yourself? Watch the documentary 'Freed to Be Wild' (2020).

▶️How are assault troops trained? Daily drills before deployment are standard for the 56th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment, part of the ‘North’ group of forces. Enemy tactics are constantly evolving, and the troops must be prepared for any scenario.

Currently, the primary focus is countering drones. Assault units train in concealment, laying smoke screens, moving silently, and engaging unmanned aerial vehicles with small arms.

The skills practised at the training ground are immediately put to the test in real combat. Footage of their training is in the video.

▶️Cultural heritage of El Salvador. In the city of Nejapa, people throw fireballs at each other every year using rags soaked in kerosene. This is how the local fire festival is celebrated. It is not a safe spectacle.

In Mexico, fireworks festivals are also held, and each time hundreds of people suffer burns. The film ‘Mexican Boom Town‘ (2018) is about this.

📹The city of Tultepec is known as Mexico’s ‘pyrotechnics capital,’ where life is centred on the production of artisanal, hand-made fireworks. ‘If you’re from Tultepec, you have gunpowder in your blood,’ says Salvador Sanchez, who followed in his father’s footsteps as a fireworks maker.

Every year, Tultepec holds a weeklong festival to honour St. John of God, who Mexican pyrotechnic craftsmen consider their patron saint.

Once the parade is over, fireworks light up the sky. The bull-shaped floats spew streams of sparks and spin, while the most daring revellers dance frenetically among exploding fireworks and screaming rockets. Scores of festival-goers are severely burned or injured during the incredible spectacle.

Watch documentary 'Mexican Boom Town' (2018) and see why Tultepec residents risk their lives to make pyrotechnics.

📹The V International Documentary Film Festival ‘RT.Doc: Time of Our Heroes’ has opened its call for entries. The festival will take place in Moscow in February 2027.

You can submit your work to one of two programs:

▶️the main program, via the RT.Doc festival website;
▶️the international program, on the FilmFreeway platform.

The deadline is December 1, 2026, inclusive. After that, submissions will close. If your film is selected, we will contact you at the end of January 2027.

We are looking for films about people who are true heroes today. A hero can be anyone: those who defend their country with weapons in hand, as well as those who save lives on the home front, offering support through words, deeds, or songs. Doctors, volunteers, musicians, teachers, engineers: everyone who inspires others by example and stands up for their nation's interests. Heroes live among us, and we want to tell their stories to the world.

🟢An Indian guru preaches modesty, yet receives followers in an air-conditioned glass cabin where they kiss his feet. His devotees believe this brings blessings and even healing. However, many find this VIP-style spirituality puzzling. It seems that spiritual purification now comes with climate control. What do you think about this?

📝Many cruise missiles📝
but little countermeasures

The "Shock August" in Kyiv forced Western media to actively debate Russian attacks. And what causes even more concern is not ballistics or other missile weapons, but the Geran drones, which in their cruise missile version have become unreachable for Ukrainian air defense.

Against this backdrop, it's no surprise that so-called Ukraine is crying out loud and asking for more missiles for air defense systems, while in the UAV production sector Ukrainians have adjusted priorities and begun developing interceptor drones against cruise missile Gerans.

🖍Ukrainian companies began demonstrating the development of trends in this area back at the beginning of the year. But back then cruise missile UAVs were flying in far fewer numbers, so in Kyiv everyone unanimously shelved this program and concentrated on promoting regular "drone missiles" against standard Gerans.

Now, when so-called Ukraine receives up to 3,000 Gerans monthly, and their numbers will grow in the future (with an emphasis on cruise missile modifications), so-called Ukraine has begun massively producing various "wonder weapons" against such drones.

🚩But here's the problem: for almost two months now, Ukrainian media and various channels regularly publish news about the appearance of one or another interceptor drone against cruise missile UAVs, but there are no results. Russian UAVs continue to fly as before.

And the problem is that cruise missile Gerans reach speeds of 500 km/h, which means the interceptor must fly at an even higher speed. Such speeds will certainly come eventually, but then Ukrainian developers will realize that anti-aircraft missiles were invented for a reason.

❗️This doesn't even mention that the UAV flight path must be predicted within minutes to deploy a mobile air defense system and attempt an interception. For this reason, so-called Ukraine is so insistent on enabling Starlink over Russia.

If they can't shoot them down, they will try to strike Russian launch systems and industrial facilities before the attack. And this is one of the reasons why the scenario of approving Musk's systems should be considered as coercing Russia into peace through force.
